Thermally modified wood has lower moisture absorption capability and rate and less moisture-induced wood deformation as a result, meaning that the wood shrinks and expands less with variable humidity. Thermory solid hardwood flooring is suitable for heated floors due to the high stability from its thermal modification.
As well as enhancing its physical properties, thermal modification also gives the wood a delightful darker tone which makes our Thermo-Ash an environmentally friendly alternative to tropical wood.

Thermory Flooring boards are made of real wood, enhanced naturally, adding charm and beauty to any environment. The collection includes both lighter and darker shades, both narrow and very wide boards that are easy to install. Thermory solid wood flooring products are sold unfinished, giving each customer the opportunity to choose between various oils and lacquers, according to their preference. Finishing with oil or lacquer is needed to preserve the wood and give a more even and rich look. Finishing can be done after the untreated solid wood floorboards have been installed and the adhesive has completely cured.
Thermory Industrial flooring is suitable for both homes and high traffic areas, such as sports clubs and public places. Thermory Industrial flooring consists of solid hardwood strips of 14 x 20 mm, held together by transparent tape. Such squares can be glued down with regular parquet glue. Only apply adhesive to the back surface – there should be no glue between the individual pieces. Thermory flooring is already sanded so after gluing you only need to apply oil or lacquer. Thermory Thermo-Ash, medium modified is suitable for interiors where bright and golden colors are desired. It is suitable for heated floors. The recommended maximum floorboard width for medium modified flooring is 130 mm.
Thermory Thermo-Ash, intense modified has high dimensional stability and can be installed on underfloor heating systems. The intense modified ash represents the warmest dark tones of Thermory hardwood flooring. It truly brings out the natural beauty of the wood grain.
